 MEETING VENUES

All regular MIFA meetings take place at the Medway Council Offices, Gun Wharf, Chatham (ME4 4TR). They start at 7.30pm. The staff at the reception desk can direct you to the room.

Found in Canterbury Street, Gillingham is almost opposite Stopford Road. It is a white, end-terraced property, with the name on a shop-front style panel across the width of the property.

Found in Canterbury Street, Gillingham is almost opposite Stafford Street and just up the hill from the Kentucky Fried Chicken shop. It is a detached building covered in green ceramic tiles. Allow time to find an on-street parking space in the vicinity.

Bleakwood Drive, Chatham ME5 0NF.
From Chatham, go up Chatham Maidstone Road. Shortly after the petrol station on the right, you come to a set of traffic lights. Turn left at the lights into Walderslade Road. Go down a hill, and up the other side. Go past the Poacher's Pocket public house (on your left), then King George Road on your right. Look for a Bus shelter on the right. Bleakwood Road is opposite the Bus shelter. There is a car park on the left, at the end of the road. The church is on the left, immediately before the car park.

From Rochester and Strood, Turn left at the traffic lights at the bottom of Star Hill, going past Rochester Railway Station. After you go under the railway bridge, use the first on-street parking space you find on the right hand side of the road. The Synagogue is also on the right, between the 1st and 2nd roads to the right. From Gillingham and Chatham, follow the A2 towards Rochester. Immediately before St Bart's Hospital on New Road, turn right into Gundulph Road. Take care on this narrow, winding road. At the bottom, turn left, and find parking on the left. The Synagogue is also on the left, between the 1st and 2nd roads to the left. At the time of writing these instructions, the building opposite the synagogue is under repair, and marked by lots of amber lights.

By Car: Follow the signs to A2-Rainham. At the traffic lights by St. Margaret's church and the Cricketers Pub, follow the sign to the 'Car Park', and turn right into the car park behind the pub. (Please note, this is a pay & Display car park).
Walk through the small gate along the church /cemetery wall and follow the steps, which lead to the Millennium Centre at the top.
For Disabled Access, drive to the end of the car park and turn left in to Orchard Street. Then take the first left and immediately left again. The main door to the Millennium Centre and two disabled parking bays are in front of you.
PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN THE RESIDENTS PARKING BAYS.
By Train: Rainham is on the main line between London Victoria and Dover / Ramsgate. Millennium Centre is 5 minutes walk from Rainham railway station. Come out of station; turn right at Station Road & walk up to the traffic lights. St. Margaret's Church is at the T junction in front of you. Walk to the car park by the pub and go through the small gate on the left along the church/cemetery wall. The Millennium Centre is at the top of the steps.

The Gurudwara's new location is 1-5 Lankester Park Road, Rochester, ME1 3QU. This is behind Rochester Airport, and not far from the Comet store and the Stirling Centre.
From Rochester Maidstone Road (Not Chatham Maidstone Road), turn into Lankester Parker Road.
The Gurudwara is the only building on the Left.

From Chatham, go from the Pentagon, along Dock Road, taking the first exit at the Brompton roundabout, into the dockyard. At the next roundabout, turn Right into Central Avenue. Take the second turning on the right for Pemboke. From Strood, Rainham and lower Gillingham, it may be easier to follow the Northern Relief Road to the roundabout at the Chatham end of the tunnel. Take the exit for Chatham, and turn Left at the next roundabout into Central Avenue.
